The Villa

Villa Riva is a seven-bedroom dream villa in Koh Samui's Laem Noi area. With direct access to a semi-private beach, replete with massage beds and sun loungers, this is the barefoot vacation to beat all others. The seven ensuite bedrooms are spread across three Thai-style pavilions with pitched roofs and decorated with local artefacts. The villa features a fitness centre with a gym, massage room and dry sauna, a 32-metre freeform infinity pool, a home cinema, pool table, library, and an efficient team of staff. A holiday at Villa Riva is all about sunset sea views and luxe living.

Location

The semi-private, golden-sand beach steps down from the villa is fringed by swaying palms, while clear sea water laps lazily at the shore, distant islands hover on the horizon, and sailboats and ferries pass by in the distance.

This is one of Samui's finest stretches of sand and once installed at your beachfront villa you may not feel inclined to leave. But should you fancy a change of scenery, you'll find some rustic beachside restaurants and bars a short drive away, where you can sample fresh local seafood delicacies washed down with a bottle of local beer.

If it's more sophisticated entertainment you're looking for, a crop of trendy beach clubs are springing up in the local area and the exclusive Four Seasons Resort and Spa is just minutes away by car, at Laem Yai Bay.

DINING

Daily breakfast included. The villa chef is well trained and skilled in the preparation of Thai cuisines. Guest requests are accommodated as far as possible. Groceries and beverages are charged at cost plus 20% handling fee and 7% government tax.

The villa is equipped to welcome families with children of all ages. Separate pavilions are useful for small families. Amenities include a babycot and high chairs. Any other equipment you may need can be rented for a fee.

In-villa spa treatments selected from a comprehensive menu can be carried out by professional beauty therapists (extra cost applies) in the massage room, the curtained gazebo, on the beach or anywhere within the villa complex.

TRANSPORT

Car hire and taxi pick-ups can easily be arranged by your Villa Manager at a small cost.

Events for up to 100 people can be arranged at the villa with prior notice (event fee applies).
